WHAT IS FLOATING?

Our floatation tanks contain 10 inches of water heated to the same temperature as your outer body so you you're less aware of it. Over 380kg of high quality Epsom salt is dissolved into the water which allows you to float effortlessly at the surface. During a float, the vertebrae in the spine relax and decompress, blood pressure lowers and cortisol (a stress hormone) level drop. With the external environment taken care of, the nervous system gets a chance to calm down. Natural endorphins are released and brain activity works in theta waves associated with relaxation and meditation. During a session, people generally feel weightless and peaceful, without needing to exert any effort to stay afloat.
